Create a captivating centrepiece in your home or office with this stunning Amethyst crystal sphere and display case. This crystal has been cut and hand-polished by expert artisans to show-off and enhance its exquisite natural beauty.

To many, Amethyst is associated with groundedness, tranquillity, and calm. The word amethyst comes from the Greek word amethystos, which means “not-intoxicated” and alludes to the idea of maintaining a clear, steady mindset.

The specimen is cradled and protected within a bespoke, acrylic display case, offering you an incredible 360° display. The Quartz family of minerals encompasses a wide range of stones, with the purple variety being called amethyst. It is formed inside igneous volcanic rocks called basalts, which are created by volcanic lava. These rocks act as vessels that contain minerals and water over time. The colour is caused by tiny impurities of iron which are then altered by natural radiation to give the purple colour.

Sphere Dimensions: 15cm
Display Case: 35cm x 22cm x 22cm
